'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Universal Studios Hire Additional Bodyguards for Charlie Hunnam [PHOTOS]
Obviously, Universal Studios is after the safety of the lead cast for "Fifty Shades of Grey." During the premiere of "Sons of Anarchy" in Hollywood, Charlie Hunnam, who is slated to play Christian Grey, had apparent extra security. Reports claim that Universal Studios hired more bodyguards for Hunnam but for what reason?
Are fans still desperate to get Matt Bomer for the part of Christian Grey? That seemed to be the case following an online petition on Change.org. However, it seems that fans of E.L. James' erotica novel aren't bound to get what they want with the casting. Does it mean they'll be up to desperate moves to ensure that Charlie Hunnam leaves the part of Christian Grey?
Well, the production studio behind "Fifty Shades of Grey" seems to think so. The Hollywood Reporter stated that Universal Studios hired additional security for Charlie Hunnam. Apart from protecting Hunnam from angry fans, the production studio added security to protect Charlie from overzealous fans as well.
With over a million fans of E.L. James' novel across the country, it's no question what they might do once they see the films' lead star, Charlie Hunnam. Yet, Charlie seems to be the only star in the film worth protecting. No news has surfaced regarding added security for Charlie's co-star, Dakota Johnson.
As for the film, production for "Fifty Shades of Grey" is yet to begin with two other lead stars in the film adaptation needed to be cast, namely Kate Kavanagh and Elliot Grey. For now, check out the slideshow to see more of "Fifty Shades of Grey's" Christian Grey, Charlie Hunnam.
