‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Short Film and ‘Fake Trailer’ Excite Book Fans [VIDEO]
A fan film of "Fifty Shades of Grey" is slowly gaining attention on YouTube.
'Fifty Shades' is nowhere near actual production of the book's film adaptation. Writers and director have not been named, and the film team has not employed anyone for the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The fans could hardly wait.
"The following short is a fan film made for non-profit," the film starts. Unrendered Media, Baku Pictures and Hero Pictures Production are the teams behind the decent short feature based on the hit erotic fiction by E.L. James.
The film crew cast a slightly older Anastasia, but she could still pass for a fresh college graduate. However, the actor who played Christian seemed old enough to be a twenty-something's favorite uncle.
"I think the actor is cute and all but he just doesn't fit my description of Mr. Grey, but besides that the video is nice and the ending of it is amazing," says YouTube commenter Ana Zelada.
The short film explores the night Christian asked Anastasia to sign his contract. The same night when Anastasia kept biting her lips, distracting Christian. It was the same landmark night when she first saw his 'playroom.'
"Wow the girl was a perfect description of Ana!" Commenter prettybaby2525 posted.
The producers, at least the person responsible for casting, responded to a comment on the characters by saying:
"Opening your mind a bit helps.... Ana does not REALLY exist. We did our best bringing this story to life. I looked for good actors, not EXACT copies of what they look like. Thank you ;)"
The short film is followed by a fake trailer for the film production of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Watch the video below or follow this link.
