"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie would only work if Matt Bomer is Christian Grey and Alexis Bledel is Anastasia Steele. At least that is the statement of many fans across various social media channels. But which celebrities could Bomer and Bledel go on double dates with? Could it be Blake Lively and Alex Pettyfer as Kate Kavanagh and Alex Pettyfer as Elliott Grey?

'Fifty Shades' Double Date: Anastasia Steele and Kate Kavanagh, Christian and Elliott Grey

Kavanagh, Ana's BFF, is responsible for the first encounter of Ana and Christian. It's her perky personality and scheming ways that threw Ana into the world of sex bondage and the wildest foreplays, except Kate was not fully aware of how things would eventually turn out.

Elliott Grey balances out his brother Christian's forward-looking, outwardly stiff demeanor in public. He is more fun, more relaxed, although not necessarily more gorgeous. He is at least as buff and sculpted as Christian, only more youthful looking.

'Fifty Shades' Casting: Why Blake Lively and Alex Pettyfer for Kate and Elliott?

Being a 'Gossip Girl' alumna, Blake Lively has become a poster girl for sophisticated sexiness and city girl glamour. She certainly has inadvertently pulled some Kate Kavanagh (inquisition) stunts on the GG series, and fits the headturner description in the book.

Alex Pettyfer's role in the 2012 film "Magic Mike" is not so far from the easy, laid back ways of Elliott Grey. His youthful looks would register well on the screen. And as far as the fan photos go, he shows a strong chemistry with Lively.
