The most awaited film to hit the big screen this March 23 is finally on its way and the "Hunger"-addicted fans just cannot wait to get in line and see it first. Though Suzanne Collins post-apocalyptic novel is a genuine work of art, it has been compared with the likes of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" and now with J.K.Rowling's "Harry Potter".

The big question is which is better: "Hunger Games" or "Harry Potter"?

"Harry Potter" may have been the largest and most popular film franchise to have ever hit the world. J.K.Rowlings best-selling novels continue to capture hearts and the films directed by top-notch British directors are still being watched all over the world.

Though the Golden Trio namely Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are likely to be in another film together once more, these three continue to become a film trio unbeaten by any other movie but "Twilight" and "Hunger Games" fans bid to compare.

"Twilight" has long been compared with the wizardly film franchise which in turn has caused quite a riot amongst its fans. Apart from causing a rift between "Potterheads" and "Twi-hards", it has even caused actors from both films to make laughable comments about the film.

In one interview, Daniel Radcliffe known to play Harry Potter himself commented on the "Twilight" films saying he could so easily destroy the vampires with one flick of his wand. It would be a lame and laughable comment for a few but for "Twi-hards" it caused a bigger mayhem.

Despite the growing number of fans who are against each film, now another film comes between the two and it too has been subject to a lot of criticism, of which are good and bad. "The Hunger Games" in a nutshell is a post-apocalyptic novel that revolves around freedom from oppression, rebellion, love and life. It's one among all the other books that like "Harry Potter" is worth the read but the only difference is there's death and gore detailed quite impressively which might not be suitable for a few young readers.

The three films in all their separate rights have individual charms that stick to the readers and the watchers. For those who love the concept of rebellion, freedom, love and the value of life then "Harry Potter" and "The Hunger Games" both share the same passion.

"Twilight" on the other hand revolves around young love and the impulse of being driven to fight for it. The books on one hand are entirely different from the films and fans will have to wait until March 23 before judgments may be given about "The Hunger Games" and "Harry Potter."
