Final Fantasy 15 update: Nissin Cup Noodle hat DLC confirmed
A few months ago, a famous parody trailer has caught the attention of so many Final Fantasy 15 and cup noodle fans alike. This is regarding the Nissin Cup noodle parody that stars the main characters of the game. Once again, this parody is in the upcoming “Final Fantasy 15” update.
According to an information that was given by the official Nissin website, Noctis wearing a Nissin cup hat (or better known as Noctis' Cup Noodle hat) will soon be attainable. This will be available as a downloadable content (DLC) on an upcoming “Final Fantasy 15” update.
In order to be able to get this DLC, players can purchase the DLC itself once it is released by the Square Enix team. They can also choose another option aside from waiting for the DLC to become live.
Fans can go to the Nissin website and purchase the “Cup Noodle Pack.” The pack will be priced at 6,048 yen, which is roughly around $68.88. But the DLC code is not the only thing that “Final Fantasy” fans can expect from this pack.
The pack will also include a total of 15 Nissin Cup Noodle-themed cups. These special edition cups will sport visual arts that will showcase each of the “Final Fantasy” franchises’ boss character from Final Fantasy 1 to 14. Some of these bosses include the likes of Chaos, Emperor, Cloud of Darkness, Zeromus, Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja, Shadow Lord and Garland. The franchise will go all the way up to the most recent Final Fantasy 15 boss, Ardyn Lucis Caelum.
The pack will also pick a total of 30 lucky winners to have an additional bonus prize. This reward is the “Ultima Weapon Fork." The Ultima Weapon Fork has a handle design which is strikingly similar to the Ultima Weapon used by Cloud Strife in “Final Fantasy 7.”
The Nissin company has collaborated with the team from Square Enix to make this Nissin Cup special edition possible. This joint project is in line with the 30th anniversary celebration of the gaming company and its most famous franchise, all the more reason to give these limited edition cup noodles and Ultima Weapon fork to their loyal fans.
The celebration has not only focused on this particular merchandise as a thank you gift to their followers, but has also given several unique and memorable events as well. Some of these include the “Final Fantasy 7” ice sculpture lights and sound show that is currently happening in Japan, and of course the remake of the aforementioned game that is set to be released this year.
