‘Final Fantasy XV’ dev releases new screenshots, Active Time Report date and scanned sneak peeks
Square Enix has finally revealed some more teaser for “Final Fantasy XV.” This time, instead of more information about what’s coming to the game, the developer unveiled a couple of screenshots featuring some action scenes in the game.
DualShockers has the images available, and a lot of the images feature explosions all around. There is even one image that shows Noctis in the middle of two beasts in attack mode. Two of the screenshots show the power of fire when attacking enemies, with the attacks seemingly a demonstration of elements-based attacks. Apart from the action-packed battle scenes, it appears that there will be quiet moments, as can be seen in the screenshot where Noctis seems to be stealthily trying to penetrate a guarded area.
This is not the only surprise that Square Enix has for “Final Fantasy XV” fans. The developer has finalised the date for the next Active Time Report featuring the game. On Jan. 30, fans can tune at 8:00 p.m. PT for the livestream. What’s great about the new Active Time Report is that it can be watched on YouTube.
Since the Active Time Report is not yet the hyped event for “Final Fantasy XV” on March, the developer will also be giving more details on the latter event. As previously reported, fans are also expecting the announcement of the release date at the event. Both “Final Fantasy XV” game director Hajime Tabata and Global Marketing Director Akio Ofuji will be gracing the Active Time Report event.
To get some fans by until the next Active Time Report, a new scan of the latest Shonen Weekly Jump, a Japanese magazine, has been released. The scan, spotted by Gematsu, hints at some features and elements that can be found in “Final Fantasy XV.”
Some of these elements include a battle against the Magitek Armour and the ability for Noctis to mount monsters to weaken it. Not all powers work against foes, however, as there are consequences to using some elements. For instance, when one is in a grassy area, using fire will burn the entire place, which can hurt both enemies and allies.
The tweet with the scan of the Shonen Weekly Jump can be seen in the link here. “Final Fantasy XV” is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this 2016.
