‘Final Fantasy XV’ Universe trailer, game box art and ‘Brotherhood’ anime already out
It’s quite the busy day for “Final Fantasy XV” fans. Apart from the release of the third episode of “Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV,” there’s also a new “FFXV” trailer, seen below.
Basically, the “Final Fantasy XV” Universe Trailer showcases all of the components that FFXV fans will need to take note of to make sure they have the holistic view of the world. There are basically two games, “Final Fantasy XV” and the mobile tie-in, “Justice Monsters Five.” There’s also the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV” full CG movie, as well as the ongoing “Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV” anime series.
The entire video consists of cutscenes from the game, some gameplay footage of “Justice Monsters Five” and footage from the movie and anime shorts.
As for the new episode for “Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV,” the story focuses on how the friendship between Gladiolus and Noctis happened, thanks to the former’s sister Iris. Gladiolus and Noctis started out roughly, with Gladdy teaching a reluctant Noctis on the art of sword fighting. The make-up part is awkward and adorable at the same time.
This is a nice follow-up to the second episode, which had focused more on how Noctis and Prompto became friends. It would be interesting to see an Ignis friendship-origin story for the fourth episode.
As a bonus, Square Enix has already released the final version of the box art, which will be released in North America. DualShockers caught sight of the box art, seen in the link above. The art shows Noctis and the gan in mid-action, with part of the Regalia showing in the frame.
It’s an entirely different beast from what the Japanese cover art has to offer. That version shows a more stylised “Final Fantasy XV” logo, with the gang about to literally start the journey with the road before them.
