On her first look in character to play as Maleficent, the evil Queen in Sleeping Beauty, Angelina Jolie has undergone something to transform her face. But not to worry, it's just prosthetics.

Just like from the animated version of "Sleeping Beauty," Disney released a picture of Angelina Jolie wearing a horned headdress and yellow contact lenses. But another thing that's obvious is her protruding cheeks which was said to be inspired by Lady Gaga's cheek prosthetics on her "Born This Way" album cover.

"We're experimenting with different things. But the horns are the horns, you can't deny them. You have to have horns," Jolie said regarding her costumes.

The focus of the film is on the evil Queen Maleficent and what had caused her hardened heart which led her to curse Aurora which will be played by Elle Fanning.

"It's not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman," Angelina once told in an interview with EW. "I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn't mean she can't have other warmer qualities."

Although there hasn't been a final cast for the role of Prince Philip who will eventually defeat Maleficent, all other main characters are good to go. The set for the movie is currently being made near the heart of Buckinghamshire. Although Angelina hasn't set foot in the set yet, there is a heavy security present in preparation for her arrival.

The Brangelina family has made U.K. their temporary home as they were seen on family outings, theaters and stores. The movie will be directed by Robert Stromberg and will be released on March 14, 2014.
