The first look of Ben Affleck starrer "Gone Girl" is surely going to give you chills in your spine! The new cover of Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a creepy poster of the movie based on the same novel. Ben Affleck hugs the corpse of his dead wife played by Rosamund Pike in a morgue. The scene is surely going to keep you asking for more.

In the story, the beautiful Rosamund Pike is presumed murdered and she is seen lying on a metal autopsy table where the operation tools are kept by the side. Affleck hugs the lifeless yet sexy body of Pike who stares at the ceiling with her eyes wide open. Her lifeless and twisted hands lay on both sides and her foot is stapled with hospital tag. The image is very disturbing. Ben is seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black socks as he lovingly cuddles his wife. You can see the picture here.

Despite portraying a dead body, Rosamund looks amazingly beautiful in luscious golden hair and has a beautiful body. The movie plot is based on the fact that Rosamund goes missing and her husband Affleck is seen as a major suspect behind her disappearance. The film is based on the bestselling 2012 novel by Gillian Flynn and Ben plays the role of Nick Dunne, whose wife vanished mysteriously on their fifth wedding anniversary. The novel "Gone Girl" is the best seller and sold over two million copies in its first year.

"There was something thrilling about taking this piece of work that I'd spent about two years painstakingly putting together with all its eight million LEGO pieces and take a hammer to it and bash it apart and reassemble it into a movie," Gillian Flynn tells Entertainment Weekly.
