The original Flappy Bird is not available in the App Store but rock band Fall Out Boy say that their parody app will be made available on iOS and Android platforms for users.

Fall Out Boy are ready to release their own version of the hit game, Flappy Bird. The parody version of Flappy Bird called Fall Out Bird was coded in 24 hours. According to The Guardian, the game will be available on iOS and Android platforms this week.

"Rome wasn't built in a day, but this game was," tweeted Fall Out Boy. "Coming ... as soon as it's approved."

Vietnamese developer Dong Nguyen designed the original Flappy Bird game. However, it was pulled off from online stores on Sunday as the game's fame was ruining Dong's simple life. It was reported that Dong was earning $50,000 a day from the pop-advertisements.

Dong cleared that Flappy Bird's removal was not due to any legal problems. He also tweeted that he will continue to make games and will not sell Flappy Bird.

Without a doubt, Flappy Bird is one of the most popular games in 2014 so far. The free game was released in May 2013, and it required the player to tap the screen in order to keep the bird in the air.

The game was heavily shared on various social media websites and according to BBC, more than 22 million subscribers reviewed Flappy Bird on YouTube.

Soon, the game topped the charts in the App Store as well as Google Play Store.

After Flappy Bird was removed from online stores, fans took to social media sites. They started tweeting using popular hashtags like #SaveFlappyBird and #RIPFlappyBird. As a matter of fact, people are so addictive to the game that they are ready to buy Flappy Bird pre-installed iPhone at super high prices. Many people made their phones available for sale on eBay.
