The next episode of “The Flash,” titled “Legends of Yesterday,” will feature the Flash and Green Arrow working together to protect someone. The power tandem will finally discover a way to defeat Vandal.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Flash” season 2 episode 8 spoilers.

Season 4 Episode 8 will be the second part of the crossover between “Arrow” and “The Flash” series, so viewers can expect to see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) speeding around Star City. The first part of the crossover is in Season 2 Episode 8 of “The Flash”, titled “Legends of Today.”

Hollywood Hills writes that Barry Allen and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will rescue Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Henstchel) and Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) from Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The plot begins in “Legends of Today” when Vandal comes to Central City looking for Kendra. The latter is asked for Flash’s help while Flash requests for support from Green Arrow in saving Kendra. After taking Carter and Kendra, the two superheroes place both of them in a secret location until they can find a way to defeat Vandal permanently.

In the meantime, Malcolm Merlin (John Barrowman), arrange for The Flash, Green Arrow and Vandal to meet. Putting the three at the same location can only mean catastrophe. The two DC superheroes collaborate to take down Vandal, TV Fanatic reveals. Their teams also work together to come up with a stronger weapon against their powerful foe. Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Diggle (David Ramsey), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Thea (Willa Holland) will be featured as the teams fight Vandal.

It will be exciting to see several characters from “The Flash” and “Arrow” series teaming up to battle Vandal. Aside from the two main heroes, Black Canary, Cisco and Malcolm Merlyn will also be doing some damage. Harrison (Tom Cavanaugh) will make a serum that will increase Barry’s speed. Jay (Teddy Sears) will get to try the special serum.

Season 2 Episode 8 of “The Flash” will air on Dec. 2 at 8 PM ET on CW. The episode is directed by Thor Freudenthal and written by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim. “The Flash” will be having a short break for Thanksgiving, which explains why the next episode will air in December instead.
