Spoiler alert! This article contains "The Flash" spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the new episode airs.
Season 3 Episode 13 of “The Flash” is titled, “Attack on Gorilla City.” The episode synopsis states that Jesse Quick (guest star ViolettBeane) lets the team know that her father, Harrison Wells, (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted. Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian Albert (Tom Felton) will travel to Earth-2 to attempt to rescue Harry from Gorilla City, writes SuperHeroHype.
Upon arriving in Gorilla City, The Flash and his team move through the forest but are immediately captured. They are taken to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov), who tells them that he needs their aid to stop the leader of Gorilla City, Solovar (voiced by Keith David). Solovar allegedly plans to invade Earth-1 so the team will need to think and act quickly before it is too late.
Meanwhile on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) go out to try and stop a new metahuman that has the power to control gravity. In the next “The Flash” episode, H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) will be positioned at S.T.A.R. Labs to guide them throughout the mission.
The new images from “The Flash” Season 3 Episode 13 were posted on 411Mania showed several characters behind bars. It is still uncertain whether Jesse Quick, Julian and Cisco are inside or outside the steel cages. Harry and Barry, however, are obviously imprisoned, although another photo showed Harry and Jesse behind bars together.
Another image showed The Flash and Jesse with steel bars separating them, although it is undetermined whether they are both in two separate cages or only one is imprisoned. Overall, the team will have to find a way to free themselves while in Gorilla City.
Team Flash also has to determine whether Grodd or Solovar is the real enemy. It is possible that Grodd is merely making up the story about Solovar’s seemingly evil plan to have the group solve his problems for him. Grodd may ultimately turn out to be the real enemy, with a scheme to eliminate Solovar and gain control of Gorilla City.
“Attack on Gorilla City” is directed by Dermott Downs. Andrew Kreisberg wrote the story, while Aaron Helbing and David Kob wrote the teleplay. The next “The Flash” episode will air on Feb. 21, 2017 on The CW in the US. It also airs on FOX8 in Australia.
