'The Flash' season 3 spoilers: Tom Felton reveals his characters love/hate relationship with Barry Allen; Violet Beane transforms into Jesse Quick
Original air date on The CW: October 4, 2016
Barry Allen’s timeline will be messed up pretty terribly when the Flashpoint Paradox gets activated in the upcoming Season 3 of “The Flash.” An exciting part of that new change would be the introduction of a new character, Julian Dorn, who is to be played by no other than Harry Potter star Tom Felton.

Felton described the relationship between his character and Barry Allen in an interview as “He’s a forensic expert, so he treads on the toes of much of what Barry is good at. Hence, they have a slightly abrasive relationship at first.” A big part of the initial abrasive relationship which Felton describes can be attributed to Barry’s confusion as to where people now stand in his completely different world. This happens as a result of his decision at the end of the second season.
Tom Felton has very effectively portrayed an iconic villain in Harry Potter that viewers have loved to hate. When asked if there will be a change of pacing for his upcoming role, as if Dorn will be a good guy, he shrugs it off by saying “absolutely not.”
As the Flashpoint paradox completely twists Barry Allen’s universe inside out, this alternate timeline would involve the introduction of completely new characters and the reinvention of a lot who are already known. A new rumour that has been going around says that Violett Beane could become Jesse Quick in season 3.
While there are no confirmations yet, there has been a Twitter account of someone who claims to be an “autograph hound.” Canadagraphs, who claims to have gotten an autograph from Beane while she was filming some scenes in Vancouver. The Tweet says that Beane signed the autograph while still in costume as Jesse Quick, reports Comicbook.
There were no photographs of the encounter, and the claim is only supported by a description of the costume as “having red pants like Barry’s.” Also, there is absolutely no way of knowing if the costume was indeed, for the Flashpoint timeline, or in the regular one.
The third season of “The Flash” will debut on TV on Tuesday October 4, 2016 on the CW.
