Floyd Mayweather-Canelo Alvarez Fight, Justin Bieber and Li'l Wayne Spotted Hugging to Celebrate Mayweather's Victory, Celebrities Who Watched the Match
Floyd Mayweather's third return to light middleweight with his bout against Canelo Alvarez on Sept 14 was a success because he remained undefeated after beating the Mexican boxer at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, via majority decision.
For those who weren't able to see the fight, it was a clear win for Mayweather. However, only two out of the three judges favoured him.
The official scorecards by David Moretti, Craig Metcalfe, and C.J. Ross are 116-112, 117-111, and 114-114, respectively. It was crystal clear that the first two judges found it a little hard to give points to Canelo, but C.J. Ross scored the fight draw.
It was an exciting fight because everyone was eager to witness if it will be Mayweather's very first defeat. Yet, Mayweather's tenure in the boxing industry, not to mention his precision and being able to control the entire game, has made him win again.
Alvarez' loss to Mayweather is his first for his entire professional boxing career. Apparently, Mayweather is a bit huge for the young Mexican boxer.
As expected, a lot of well-known and prominent people were in attendance during the fight.
Justin Bieber and Li'l Wayne escorted Mayweather to the ring. Bieber was actually invited to Mayweather's locker room prior to the fight, and he was very supportive of him, as reported by TMZ.
The teenage heartthrob even posted a photo of Mayweather on the ring with him on Twitter.

If you can still remember, Bieber already walked Mayweather to the ring in 2012 during the Mayweather-Cotto fight. Li'l Wayne, on the other hand, has escorted Mayweather before his fight with Robert Guerrero.
Some of the other celebrities who watched the match include Liam Hemsworth, Heidi Klum, Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Kevin Garnett, Magic Johnson, and veteran actor Jack Nicholson.
Indeed, Mayweather's "bad boy" image has definitely attracted quite a number of followers, whether famous or not. He is just an ideal blend of aptitude and excitement.
