Floyd Mayweather Claims ‘Showtime’s All Access’ Is Completely Fake; Manny Pacquaio Reacts To The Undefeated Boxer’s Testimony
Unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather revealed a juicy secret about Showtime's "All Access," which aired ahead of his rematch with Argentine boxer Marcos Maidana. Mayweather claims the show is far from reality and is completely fake.
According to Yahoo Sports, Mayweather was summoned by the Nevada State Athletic Association (NSAC) on September 23 to answer a few questions about an episode aired just before his rematch with Maidana. Mayweather was called in for a hearing to discuss the episode, which showed Mayweather's female pals smoking a marijuana joint. The same episode also featured an unsanctioned boxing match between amateur fighters Donovan Cameron and Hasim Rahman jr. The match lasted for 31 minutes without any breaks. The NSAC totally disapprove of such activities.
When Mayweather appeared before the NSAC, he defended himself and said that everything on the show was staged. He said that the marijuana joint that her two female pals were smoking weren't really real. The Grand Rapids native boxer said that they were all presented for pure entertainment.
On the part of the unsanctioned boxing, Mayweather said that he makes sure that the fighters have taken their breaks during the sparring sessions. He said that the fighters have taken three to four hours of break period. "I'm not going to let anyone get hurt just because safety is very important to boxing," Mayweather said.
Mayweather added that they were only trying to bring enough audience for the Maidana rematch to sell more pay-per-views. He also said that they were also trying to sell a lifestyle.
The NSAC commissioners were reportedly satisfied with Mayweather's confessions and even applauded him for standing up and telling the truth. "You accomplished your goal," current chairman Francisco Aguilar said. "I think you represented yourself well," Aguilar further stated.
Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao has expressed his thoughts on Mayweather's reality show. Pacquiao tweeted Mayweather directly and said that the American boxer's show just tells him everything he needs to know.
.@FloydMayweather's testimony to the commission on All Access' authenticity tells me everything I need to know about his desire to fight me.

Pacquiao also recently took a jab at the undefeated boxer and insinuated that he was "uneducated." Mayweather has not responded to Pacquiao's latest tweet to this point.
