Floyd Mayweather Continues to Snub Manny Pacquiao, Has His Mind on Own Fight and Nothing Else

Floyd Mayweather continues to snub Manny Pacquiao and dismissed any rumour for a potential clash with the Filipino boxer. Roach revealed in a recent interview that he is still dreaming of a Mayweather-Pacquiao mega-fight, but the undefeated still vehemently quieted even just the thought of such fight. Mayweather remains reluctant and shows unwillingness to fight Pacquiao.

In a report by Mlive.com, Mayweather said that he is not thinking about anything else except his forthcoming fight with Marcos Maidana on May 3. "I try to focus on just Floyd," said Mayweather. "I don't try to focus on nobody else," he added. Mayweather went on and said people who try to worry about something else aside from themselves tend to commit a lot of mistakes. According to the Web site, Mayweather's statement was indirectly meant for Pacquiao after the Filipino boxer suffered two consecutive losses as the Mayweather talks slowed down and got held up in December 2009.

Mayweather will try to snag his 46^th winning streak against Maidana. Boxing Scene obtained an exclusive pass inside the Mayweather Boxing Club to witness the undefeated boxer train and spar in preparation for his fight with Maidana. Having had witnessed how the Mayweather performed in his training camp, Boxing Scene reported that it looks as if he is ready to fight the next day.

"Three minute rounds may be the normal standard for every fighter but for Floyd, he takes it to another level," wrote the Boxing Scene. "He spars unprecedented nine minute rounds this day as he not only tests the skill set of his sparring mate, but also his endurance."

"Floyd is just too good." In fact, he was so good that his sparring partner didn't even last a fourth round. Even Mayweather's cousin and camp coordinator Dejuan Blake thinks Mayweather gets stronger as he ages. "The more time we go, he just gets more and more stronger," said Blake. "Training camp is getting better and better, it seems like the older he gets, the harder he works," added Blake.

Mayweather lays into Maidana and his team with a threat and said: "Tell them I'm ready, make sure you tell them I'm ready."
