Floyd Mayweather Jr. To Reveal Next Fight
It won't be long before Floyd Mayweather Jr. reveals his next fighter this coming May 3, 2014 bout. Fans would know whom will he face by next week.
"Next week," Mayweather Jr. told Mlive.com when asked when he will reveal his next opponent. "But as for me, right now, I'm not thinking about boxing," he added.
The identity of his next fighter remains undecided. Most assumptions are focused on the British Boxer Amir Khan. Bernard Hopkins has also been eyeing for a showdown with the five-division world champion.
Then, Manny Pacquiao's name came up again in the boxing rumor mill after beating Brandon Rios in Macau. However, it sure looks like we will not be seeing Mayweather face Pacquiao in the ring anytime soon, as much as people crave for them to fight each other. When Mlive.com asked Floyd about Pacquiao, "Who," he immediately answered.
Mayweather has made it clear that he would take a long break off boxing after his fight against Canelo 'Saul' Alvarez and he has certainly been living a grand vacation. He has been touring here and there, attending big events, watching NBA basketball games, and more importantly, he has spent a lot of times with his kids. On Nov. 16, he threw a great birthday party for his son, King Koraun, who was attended by only some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry like his pal teen heartthrob, Justin Bieber.
Now that the holiday season is fast-approaching, the unbeaten boxer will surely find time to just enjoy every single day of it. As for Mayweather's next fight, we will just have to wait and see until he reveals it next week like he told Mlive.com.
Who else is out there to fight Mayweather? It is really hard to tell since he always says there is no one as good as him. What do you think?
