Floyd Mayweather Jr. said Manny Pacquiao's career is on a decline and he isn't interested to fight the former pound-for-pound champion, the undefeated American boxer said in an interview with Doghouse Boxing.com last week.

Mayweather said Pacquiao said had his time to fight him but he blew his chance after losing to Juan Manuel Marquez in December. The five-division champion also talked about Pacquiao being adamant to take Olympic-style testing, which has been the roadblock to their negotiations before.

"Now you got Pacquiao talking about, 'You know what? I'm ready to take the tests now.' Well you could've took the tests a long time ago, you know. I think ... his career has declined; now it's like, 'Okay, I'll do whatever now so I can get that big payday. It don't matter. I'll do whatever I got to do now,'" Mayweather said.

Mayweather added the he already ruled out any possibility of fighting Pacquiao because Canelo Alvarez has now taken his spot.

"It's like, well, you had your time, you know. I mean, you had your time. Now Canelo is in that spot and now Canelo said, 'I'll do whatever it takes,' Mayweather added.

Mayweather is set to fight Canelo Alvarez in a middleweight showdown on September 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
