Boxing's pound for pound king has not yet moved on from the alleged biting incident between him and opponent Marcos Maidana during their match last Sunday. In his latest interview, he said that the Argentine should move over to mixed martial arts where his dirty tactics belong.

"I think he needs to move over to MMA," Mayweather said post-fight. "It is extremely dirty."

Mayweather's comments pertained to his fight with Maidana in Las Vegas where he alleged that Maidana bit into his boxing glove. That would be hard to prove right now given that his opponent had a mouthpiece on, plus the fact that it would be hard to bite into and cause substantial damage to a heavily taped boxing glove. Nevertheless, the pound for pound king is still adamant of his claims. He ripped Maidana for being a rugged and dirty fighter, despite winning handily in the 12-round bout that saw him as the unanimous victor.

Added to Mayweather's win is the assured $32 million which excludes pay-per-view earnings. The controversial star has always been in the spotlight, especially this year. He was already incarcerated for domestic abuse and is again facing similar charges against a former fiancée. He also has a well-documented spat with 50 Cent who repeatedly mocks his reading ability (or disability). Then there's the backtracking from the Ray Rice comments when he slammed NFL for the heavy suspension on the Baltimore Ravens player despite a video of Rice showing him punching his then fiancée.

Backtracking from previous comments must be his specialty nowadays as after the fight with Maidana, he hinted at a big bout in 2015 which pundits speculated to be the long-awaited match with Manny Pacquiao. That escalated quickly, as the very next day, he ignored reporters on any questions pertaining to the Pacman.

As of date, there is no official statement yet whether Mayweather and Pacquiao will finally face each other on the boxing ring.
