Floyd Mayweather was seen training with Boston Celtics' Brandon Bass.

Bass is considered among the more athletic members of the Boston Celtics and the recent photo into his offseason training might explain why.

Olden Polynice, former NBA centre tweeted a photo with Bass and a mix of NBA players such as Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters and Raptors forward DeMar DeRozan with the best boxer in the planet today, Floyd Mayweather.

"Hanging w the champ @FloydMayweather along w @DeMar_DeRozan @dionwaiters3 and @brandonbass. Awesome workout #TMT," Polynice tweeted.

The Boston Celtics were allegedly considering trading away Bass to the Golden State Warriors earlier this month but as of this moment, the 29-year old remains on a crowded depth chart with Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger. If the power forward's star-studded offseason training is any indication, he will be in his best shape as he enters a contract year for the Boston Celtics this season.

Meanwhile, Mayweather agreed to give the former WBA 147 pound champion Marcos Maidana another rematch after beating him last May.

The 37-year old confirmed the fight for the WBC and WBA welterweight tittles by tweeting a photo with caption, ""Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 on September 13, Live on Showtime PPV. #Mayhem."

Maidana also pays back by giving the WBA and WBC welterweight champion a chance to redeem himself in the event that he wins the rematch on September 13 in Las Vegas Nevada.

"Right away, I'd negotiate for a third fight [with Mayweather]," Maidana said via esnewsporting.com.

The decision to let the two have a third fight would be in the hands of the WBA and WBC sanctioning bodies.

Mayweather with 46-0, 26 KOs bagged the title in their previous fight in May 3 but majority of the media agreed that it was among the toughest fights the undefeated champion has had in a decade.
