Floyd Mayweather Tweets Support for Pal Justin Bieber
Floyd Mayweather has tweeted his support for pal Justin Bieber following the Canadian heartthrob's arrest in Miami on early Thursday morning.
"Keep your head up and know that you can overcome anything you are faced in life," Mayweather tweeted. "TMT supports you @justinbieber," he added.
Mayweather and Bieber's unbelievable bromance is nothing new. Their extraordinary friendship has attracted a lot of attention in the media after Bieber showed his support for the undefeated five-division world champion by ushering him to some of his biggest matches.
In May 2012, Bieber has escorted Mayweather and even wore of his championship belts during his match against Mexican boxer Miguel Cotto. Bieber was also there during Mayweather's recent fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in September 2013. The Canadian singer has also stood up and showed his support for Mayweather against those critics who try to bring him down. Bieber even took his jab and mocked Mayweather's long-time rival Manny Pacquiao following the Filipino's knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez. To cut the story short, it only means that Bieber would surely be one of the people who will boost Mayweather's morale had the recent brush-up with law happened to him.
During the time that Mayweather was having problems with the law because of the domestic violence case filed against him, Bieber supported him. Mayweather was grateful and thanked Bieber for his courtesy and consideration to him. Then in March 2012, the undefeated boxer even recorded a personal video for Bieber congratulating him for his documentary movie. Mayweather even regarded Bieber as the most genuine person he has ever met.
In an interview with V Magazine in 2013, Bieber even compared himself to Mayweather. Bieber stated that what he was experiencing when it comes to people trying to bring him down now that he has become successful in his career is no different with what Mayweather has also been experiencing.
The latest on Bieber's arrest is that the driving charges have been reportedly dropped. He will only have to face one offense which is resisting arrest without violence. As for his BFF Mayweather, people are still anticipating for him to announce his next opponent on May 3.
