Power couple Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles topped Forbes list of "Highest Paid Celebrity Couples" of 2012, beating money spinners Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.

The famous couple Jay Z and Beyoncé managed to make $78 million together in the financial year that ended last May 1. This placed them at top spot beating Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady for the top spot.

According to Forbes magazine, Beyoncé earned more than her husband last year. She received approximately $40 million from sales of her album, sponsorships and royalties from her back catalogue.

The amount is very impressive considering the fact that she took some time off when she gave birth to their first baby, Blue Ivy, on January of this year. Jay Z managed to make $38 million from his "Watch the Throne" album and tours with Kanye West, as well as his many other businesses on and off the music industry.

Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady falls on second spot with $72 million. David and Victoria Beckham are on third spot with $54 million while Brangelina took fourth spot with $45 million.
