Ford Vs. Chevy Truck Pull Video Goes Viral As 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew, 2017 Chevrolet Silverado Get Tested
A video of Ford and Chevy trucks in a tug-of-war published on March 28, 2012 has recently gone viral. Titled “Ford vs Chevy Truck Pull,” the 27-second YouTube clip has been viewed almost 900,000 times with more than 1000 likes.
In the “Ford vs Chevy Truck Pull” video, the Ford truck managed to beat the Chevy opponent. However, commenter Mike Warren noted that the tug-of-war between the two trucks is not a scientific test unless it is done by the same class models on several trucks and controlled by a computer.
Meanwhile, both the Michigan-based Ford Motor Company and the General Motors’ automobile division Chevrolet have a newly tested pickup truck, the 2015 F-150 SuperCrew for the former and the 2017 Silverado for the latter.
The 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew prides itself in its five-star Overall Vehicle Score in New Car Assessment Program after having a crash test with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Helping the 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew earn the highest possible NHTSA rating are its Curve Control, available inflatable rear safety belts and advanced restraint system with dual-stage airbags.
Meanwhile, the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was recently spotted testing in Michigan. The new model appears to have reshaped hood and front fenders and it is said to have an all-aluminum front sheet metal. Watch the “Ford vs Chevy Truck Pull” video here:
