‘Forever’ TV Premiere – ‘Fantastic Four’ Star As An Immortal [Watch Trailer]
"Forever" will be released on Sept 22, 2014 on ABC. Ioan Gruffudd will be playing the role of a 200 year old man in the new TV series. The actor is known for playing Reed Richards in the "Fantastic Four" movies. The plot of the series revolves around the protagonist exploring the reason for being an immortal.
Dr. Henry Morgan has lived through many years without seeming to age. Every time he dies he finds himself in a body of water, like a river, and is naked. The character works at the New York City Morgue to find out the secret and the purpose of him being an immortal.
The premiere of "Forever" shows Henry meeting a beautiful woman in a train. The train meets with a tragic accident killing many of the people inside, including Henry. The episode will show Henry trying to find the cause of the train accident.
The show is expected to have some romance with the trailer showing Henry dancing with a lady who seems to know his secret and tells him that there must be for a higher purpose for his immortality and knowledge. Over the years he has learnt a great deal that seems to be focused on him being a doctor in different time periods.
There is also intrigue in "Forever" right from the premiere episode. Henry gets a call from someone who seems to know his secret. Being an immortal even in the modern era may not be something Henry would want to share with the world.
There may also be some action in store for the viewers in "Forever." The character Henry helps police detectives Jo Martinez with collecting proof to label a death as homicide instead of suicide in episode 2.
Clues of the mysterious caller will also emerge in episode 2 based on a letter Henry finds. The episode will focus on some flashback scenes that show how the romance between him and his soon to be wife, Abigail, began.
The cast members of "Forever" include Ioan Gruffudd as Dr. Henry Morgan, Alana De La Garza as Detective Jo Martinez, Donnie Keshawarz as Detective Hanson, Barbara Eve Harris as Lieutenant Marcia Roarke, Judd Hirsch as Abe, Mackenzie Mauzy as Abigail, Lee Tergesen as Hans Koehler, Lorraine Toussaint as Lt. Joanna Reece, Joel David Moore as Lucas Wan and Michael Patrick Crane as a forensic technician.
