Former Boston Celtics forward Antoine Walker said he's ready to be the next coach of the Boston Celtics after bench tactician Doc Rivers was traded away to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

Walker, who played majority of his career with the Celtics, believes he's the right man for the job to patch things up for the rebuilding franchise.

"Boston fans its time for me to be the celtics coach,!!!!" Walker tweeted on Sunday.

However, Walker's trouble in budgeting money for the future could deal a big blow to his bid. After earning as many as $100 million from NBA deals, the former Celtics All-Star burned some serious cash to the point of bankruptcy.

The last news about Walker before announcing his head coaching aspiration is he was living in a room and already without a car.

Sure, Walker can assume a rank-and-file role in the team's head coaching unit but not as a head coach right away. Besides, the Celtics still have a ton of option to choose from.

Boston is reportedly considering Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw and former Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro as possible candidates for their vacant head coaching gig.
