Former Glee Star Charice Pempengco Thanks Fans for Continued Support After Coming Out (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

Fresh from her coming out party in early May, former Glee star Charice Pempengco thanked her fans for their continued support despite receiving so many negative comments from the public for her changed physical appearance.

The singer of Pyramid gave the message to her fans in a video clip aired on Saturday over Showbiz Inside Report, a TV programme over ABS-CBN, Charice's mother station. Here is her message.

The video was shot in a plane bound for Hong Kong where Charice is on a business trip.

Charice's coming out, without using the L word, was met with mixed reactions by fans and netizens.

Lord Acuna thinks that "She's coming out for Pink's fanbase."

Patrician Yusingco added, "Charice Pempengco needed a coming out party pa?? It's like it ain't that obvious, huh."

Before Charice's virtual admission that she is a lesbian via her coming out party, EnterRvrexWorld tweeted, "Just because of her new haircut, there are already rumors that Charice might be lesbian. How silly can people..."

Emma Santos added, "Not a fan of Charice Pempengco, but just b/c she's got short hair now & has a tattoo, doesn't make her a lesbian and what if she were?"

Manilyn is an obvious fan who wrote, "Okay umamin na si Charice Pempengco. Respect people. Being a lesbian doesn't make her less of a person. I'm happy for her."

Jan Villarosa went one step further and pleaded, "Now, can we please stop making Nancy Binay black jokes or Charice Pempengco lesbian jokes? Please internet?"
