Debra Antney, Nicki Minaj's former manager shared the supposed feud of Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea is hardly true; however, it just might be something that everyone wants to happen in the cutthroat and territorial female rapping scene. However, if the two gets into a real feud, all her bets are on Nicki.

In her interview with Vice, Debra claimed that there cannot be a feud between Iggy and Nicki because the two are from two different categories. They are in two different lanes. Still, the manager acknowledges that it's something almost everyone is banking on. Everyone wants to pit Iggy against Nicki. For Debra, it's the unfortunate component of the music industry, especially involving female artists.

"Nicki didn't come out pop, so you can't put the two together like that. People just have to stay in their lanes. I'm seeing people taking shots now. It's almost like everyone wants it to happen," Debra shared.

Debra shared that Nicki should certainly avoid getting into a feud with Iggy because that is what everyone's really waiting for. If Nicki gets into a feud with Iggy, she would give spectators the chance to take shots at her.

The manager however claims that Iggy can hardly stand a chance if the two artists are pitted against each other. Just because Iggy can rap does not make her in the same league as Nicki, Debra opines. She did not mean anything bad by this statement, just her two cents.

"I think Iggy's got it, but she needs more training. She's not ready to come up against Nicki Minaj. That's not a good fighting match. I wouldn't even pay to see that. They have to come at Nicki a lot stronger than Iggy Azalea. Iggy can come in and she can run her own lane and do her own thing, but she's not strong enough for Nicki," explained the manager.

The manager shares that if everybody can just respect one's talent and even be inspired from one another, then everyone can get further. She shared that new artists are bent on knocking down Nicki Minaj when they should just be focusing to be to the next superstar on their own. She added that new artists are too focused on getting one record out that would beat Nicki that they forget it did not only take one record to build Nicki Minaj.
