Miss Universe-Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida is off for a cold winter in Moscow, Russia preparing for the biggest and grandest event of her life. Set on Nov. 9, the 62nd Miss Universe pageant's coronation night will hail a new queen. This could be the time for the Philippines to snatch the elusive crown after Margie Moran had it 4 decades ago in Greece.

The 24-year-old stunner is getting all the help she can get for the completion just like the other previous Filipino Miss Universe Top 5 finalists Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup and Janine Tugonon. Arida is now ready to represent the Philippines and show to the world that Filipinas are beautiful, God-fearing and nationalistic.

"I've worked hard to prepare for the pageant. I feel proud to represent the Philippines, and I am focused on winning the crown for the country. I want the universe to know that Filipinos are not only beautiful. We are also raised with a deep love for our country and God," she said in one of her interviews.

Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj is one of Arida's mentors and she only had one final advice, "Think and believe that you are the queen! Ikaw ang reyna, sa iyo ang korona! (You are the queen, and the crown belongs to you)" she said.

Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup believes that staying true to yourself is the key for winning. "Be yourself. Don't pretend. Always be sincere and confident," she cited.

Since the Miss Universe is a once in a lifetime experience, the beauty queens reminded Arida to enjoy herself and soak up everything the pageant has to offer. "Just have fun! Enjoy the pageant, and absorb the whole Miss Universe experience," shared Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon.

Ara is ready than ever. She will competing against 86 other contestants from all over the world at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
