The Singapore Grand Prix, which is considered one of the most glamorous events in the Formula One circuit, is here again to satisfy every motor sports fans' racing desire. Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull Renault team gun for their third straight victory in the event, but expect Ferrari and Mercedes driver to provide them a big test at Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The famous Singaporean street circuit will light up again for the 2013 edition of the only FI night race event. Vettel, who has been dominant throughout the season, is attempting to win his third straight event after winning both the Belgian and Italian Grand Prix.

Vettel enters the Singaporean stop of the FI Season with six victories and 222 points way ahead of former champions Fernando Alonzo (169 points) and Lewis Hamilton (141 points).

The Red Bull - Renault team (352 points) almost doubled their lead on the constructor's standings following their sensational wins in Belgium and Italy, while Ferrari (248 points), Mercedes (245 points), Lotus - Renault (191 points) and McLaren - Mercedes (66 points) rounded out the top 5.

Heads up before Sunday's Big Race

*According to NBC Sports, Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes team is the team to beat on this specific kind of race track, given the constructors' WO4 car really suits the tough turns - high downforce - of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

*As expected, Vettel is out to be one of the strong contenders in the Singaporean Grand Prix. However, NBC Sports analyst Luke Smith thinks Mercedes and Ferrari drivers have the tools to put pressure on the defending world champion.

*Aside from the race track's risky turns, the time of the race is also a big concern for the drivers in the Singaporean Grand Prix. After spending the last three months in Europe, Formula One drivers - especially the contenders - needs to adapt quickly or else somebody in the pack could capitalize the situation.
