Four men were lucky to have come out still alive from their car after it was gobbled up by a landslide in China's Yan'an city, Shaanxi Province.

The footage was recorded early in July at a time torrential flooding and landslides hit the Chinese province.

The footage showed the car was driving down a mountain road when the landslide happened. A car behind it back off for fear perhaps of getting also inundated by the landslide.

After what seemed like an eternity, two men suddenly emerged from the submerged car. Another man came out moments later. The three survivors joined forces together to help free the fourth man.

The July torrential rains that hit China, with rainfall recorded rising three inches in just two hours, caused floods and landslides, affecting around 936,000 people.
