Unveiled on Monday, FOX Network finally announced its 2014-2015 primetime schedule with new upcoming shows that will join FOX veteran shows including "American Idol" and "Family Guy." Suffering from a decline of viewers last season, the network's two seasons that are set to return this fall is "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Sleepy Hallow."

Even FOX's longtime ratings winner "American Idol" is having trouble with keeping its viewers, the reason why the network have to cancel six of its shows. As a result of the decline, FOX decided to cut the hours of the singing reality show, from 50 onscreen hours the next season will be aired for 37 hours.

Shows like "The X Factor," "Raising Hope," "Almost Human" and "Surviving Jack" are some of the series that are not coming back for another season. Fox's veteran shows like "Glee," "The Following," "New Girl," "The Simpsons," "The Mindy Project," "Masterchef," "Bob's Burger," "Boom!," "Animation Domination High-Def," "Bones" and "So You Think You Can Dance" are returning for another season.

"Our portfolio of content this year reflects the biggest investment in programming we've ever made," says FOX Chairman for Entertainment Kevin Reilly as he unveiled the all-new 2014-2015 lineup during its annual Programming Presentation posted on Soap Opera Network.

"FOX is redefining the network experience on our air and as a 24/7/365 platform, with distinctive series, addictive event dramas and can't-miss live specials that will deliver broadcast's most youthful audience at scale," Reilly added.

The network aims to bring back more viewers as they premiere the much-awaited "Batman" series, "Gotham." Following the 12-year-old Bruce Wayne, the young Jim Gordon and the rise of Gotham vigilantes, "Gotham" stars Ben McKenzie as Kim Gordon, Jada Pinkett and Donal Logue.

FOX will also introduce its new reality show, "Utopia," a whole new series from John de Mol, the man behind "Deal or No Deal," "Big Brother," "Fear Factor" and "The Voice." Based on a Dutch hit of the same name, the show will house 15 regular Americans to an isolated location for an entire year and challenges them create a new civilization.
