Former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has once again challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a showdown inside the squared circle, but this time, he wants all the proceeds of their mega-fight to go to charity.

After being the subject of Mayweather's verbal assault and mockery on social media and during interviews, Pacquiao responded with a very intriguing challenged that would dare Money May's legitimacy as the universally recognised best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Pacquiao, after collecting millions of dollars along with the title as one of the best boxers in history, expressed again his desire to go mano-y-mano with Mayweather Jr. without getting a single cent from the fight.

The Saranggani fighting congressman stressed that he's challenging Mayweather not for money, but for millions of boxing fans around the world who has been deprived of the opportunity to see the two top pound-for-pound fighters going head-to-head in the ring.

Moreover, Pacquiao wanted his showdown with Mayweather to be devoted for charity, asking all the proceeds - fight purse and pay-per-view and merchandise buys - to be appropriated for charitable works.

"I'm not desperate to fight him just for the sake of money or material things. I'm not the one seeking this fight; rather it's the boxing fans all over the world," Pacquiao told Aquiles Zonio of the Philippine inquirer.

"I am ready to submit myself to any kind of stringent drug testing. Above all, I challenge him to include in our fight contract that both of us will not receive anything out of this fight," Pacquiao challenged. "We will donate all the proceeds from the fight-guaranteed prize, should there be any, gate receipts, pay-per-view and endorsements-to charities around the world."

Challenge to Mayweather's Legitimacy as Pound-for-Pound Warrior

Pacquiao, who already submitted himself to all kinds of blood testing and other stipulations to be given by Mayweather's camp, insisted he's not a desperate fighter, and his desire to fight Mayweather comes out of his love for boxing.

"Floyd, if you're a real man, fight me," Pacquiao said in his statement. "Let's do it for the love of boxing and for the fans. Let's do it not for the sake of money. Let's make the boxing fans happy."

Mayweather, who bragged about his starpower and the millions of dollars he gained from his big fights, is certainly facing an enormous pressure in answering Pacquiao's latest call-out. After calling the Filipino champ desperate and a washed-out fighter, Mayweather's credibility as blue-blooded boxing warrior is suddenly under siege, and he knows there's only one way to remove the stigmata of being coward - and that's to fight Pacman.
