French Montana Defends Himself Against Allegations Of Using Khloe Kardashian For Fame

It could be remembered that French previously asserted that it will be unwise of him to "strike out while the iron is hot," a statement that was taken out of context to mean that he's using his recent popularity for dating one of the Kardashian sisters to launch his own rapping career. Khloe Kardashian herself have tweeted that she does not care if French Montana is using her or not, but French apparently cares about what she thinks. This is why the rapper took it upon himself to clear the ludicrous issue of him using Khloe's fame to jumpstart his own.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, French put forward that some of his comments were taken out of context. He cleared the air by telling Access Hollywood how angry he got that his words were twisted like that.

"I was so mad about that ... If I'm with somebody, I'm not with them for that reason," said the rapper to Access Hollywood.

In fact, now that he is a successful reality star and rapper, fame has not really sunk in yet. He shared that he is still wary of being in front of so many cameras all the time. Being in front of the cameras can be quite chaotic that he developed a love-hate relationship with it. French added that sometimes he is just not ready for so many cameras trained on his face and he hates all the commotion. Yet, according to the rapper he still loves the attention despite the commotion.

In addition, French talked about the bad publicity on Khloe Kardashian. He does not like that his girlfriend is being painted in such a bad color when all she does is support him. This is why he thinks he should return the favor. He shared that everything Khloe wants from him to support her career, he will do it without batting an eyelash.

This is one of the reasons why Khloe was included in French's' music video. People magazine reports that Khloe had a lot of fun during the shoot. Asked if doing the video gave her the acting bug, Khloe claimed that she did more posing and acting for the music video that she really didn't need to go beyond her comfort zone.

"It was great. It was easy. It was like I didn't even realize it was [work] ... we were just having fun. It didn't seem that serious - we were just comfortable hanging out. He's a great talent," stated Khloe with regards to working with someone she's dating to the publication.
