The “Friday” hitmaker, 13-year-old Rebecca Black has told during a guest appearance on a television show that she is planning on donating to Japan relief efforts part of her increasing bank account from the sales of her first single that have stormed the web less than a month ago.
Talking to Jay Leno last week during a brief appearance and doing what turned out to be a lip-synch performance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, the teen singer emphasized her willingness to share some of her earnings to the victims of the devastating twin disaster in Japan - - hit with quake and tsunami on March 11.
With 37,000 copies of her song downloaded and sold on iTunes, Black, whose “Friday” hit single currently placed # 31 in charts had earlier been reported earning her first million for her viral video, now with over 35 million viewers on YouTube.

Rebecca Black now a millionaire, thanks to “Friday”
When asked how she has been coping with the new-found fame, the teen sensation said: "Oh, it's so crazy, it's so weird!"
The “Friday” singer admitted that she had been affected in the beginning by the public’s reaction of her music.
She explained, "I'm 13 ... so being a teenager, you care about what other people think about you. 'Oh, the world hates me, I'm gonna die!'
But she insisted that she found a way to help herself cope with the increasing popularity that also include ‘haters’.
“ But now I don't even read them, so they don't bug me," Black was quoted telling Leno during her recent TV appearance.
The teen hitmaker also quickly pointed out that this is what she has been hoping for.
Black said, "I've always been interested in music for a long time, and my parents knew I was too, so my friend told me about Ark Music Factory."
Her song “Friday” has also spawned hundreds of remixes and different versions after gaining viral attention mostly criticized for its lyrics.
