In fact, these two stars have ignored each other countless times on the red carpet. While mentioning one another on interviews is one thing, tweet-ing the other is another. Aside from having both worked for Disney, another factor that connects Miley and Selena is their ex-boyfriend, Nick Jonas. After dating Miley, Nick immediately jumped off to date Selena. Now, anyone in their right mind would see exactly why these two women don't see eye to eye. Could Nick have been the initial reason to their feud?

Come year 2012, Selena dated Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber. However, the relationship went south leaving the "Jelena" duo to split early this year. During such time, Justin was spotted with one of Selena's alleged least favourite person, Miley Cyrus. Rumours instantly emerged on the web claiming Cyrus was Justin's booty call.

The feud heated up when sources close to Selena claimed she banned questions from interviews about Justin and Miley. Obviously, something was up between the "Come & Get It" and "We Can't Stop" singers. In fact, having attended countless events, Miley and Selena were not once photographed together on the red carpet or at after-party events.

At the recent Jingle Ball where Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez were a few of the performers, the two stars appeared to have ignored each other. Does this mean there is no chance of reconciliation between them? Well, Miley seems to be taking the high road as she had sent a tweet early Wednesday afternoon. The tweet goes: "@selenagomez where you at"

In a matter of minutes, the tweet had gained over 23 thousand favourites and 31 thousand re-tweets. On the other hand, Selena Gomez who had been mentioned in the tweet failed to send a reply. Apparently, Selena isn't quick to forget about the past and move on.

Hopefully, before the year ends Selena and Miley manage to patch things up. For one, Selena Gomez did rekindle her friendship with BFF, Demi Lovato. What are the chances that she'd do the same for Miley Cyrus?
