NBC's big hit "Friends" had a decade long successful run. The final episode of this hugely popular sitcom aired on May 06, 20014 and ever since then, fans of "Friends" have been expecting a reunion on T.V or a "Friends" movie. There have been noises in the past of a reunion but they have just remained as noises.

According to certain reports in the past, Jennifer Aniston, who played the role of Rachel Green, was not keen on "Friends" reunion, as she wanted to concentrate on movies. Unlike Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Jennifer has been successful in bagging Hollywood projects and has been not out of movie work.

The year 2014 will be the 20th anniversary of "Friends" launch and the talk about the reunion has started, again. It can only happen if Jennifer agrees to be part of the reunion.

A source said to OK! magazine, as quoted by Channel 24, "Since the show ended in 2004 it's been rare for all six of them to appear in public together. But with next year's 20th anniversary of the show's launch it will be unavoidable for them to do something together. It's the perfect excuse to talk seriously about a new project."

The source also said that it is no secret that the take-off of the project highly depends upon Jennifer. "It's no secret the whole project will be pinned on Jennifer, who's incredibly busy with her movie career. But she's been slowly convinced that a reunion could be a good thing."

Jennifer's good friend, Courteney, might make Jennifer agree for "Friends" reunion as the two are close. The source revealed to OK! that "Courteney has been telling Jennifer that she and Matthew Perry have still got that amazing chemistry after shooting just a few scenes with him guest starring on her TV show Cougar Town. It was as though no time has passed at all."
