“If she did it once, she could do it again.” These words have resonated from and among close friends and family of Twilight hunk actor, Robert Pattinson as they continue to warn him to keep an even closer eye on girlfriend Kristen Stewart especially now that he is away filming “The Rover” in outback Australia.

The warning came following reports last week that Kristen Stewart and “Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders have rekindled old feelings and tried to comfort each other as circumstances of their respective personal “romantic” lives have seemingly fallen into pieces.

It wasn’t clear whether who initiated “to ignite old flames” as both camps have remained mum about the issue.

One online magazine reported that Rupert Sanders is likely to pursue Kristen Stewart once again as the 42-year-old director remains totally head over heels to the beautiful Twilight star.

According to Celebrity Laundry, Sanders may have find the right time to pursue K-Stew again as his wife, Liberty Ross officially filed divorce after the cheating scandal that rocked the millions of Tween fans last summer.

A friend of the director told In Touch Weekly asserted that it could be the director to make the first move.

“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Kristen and Rupert got back in touch, and it would be Rupert who reached out,” an unnamed friend of Sanders was quoted as saying by In Touch Weekly.

“He was infatuated with her.”

But this could be the best time for him to get to K-Stew as she is the most vulnerable at this time.

Kristen was reported feeling “neglected” with Robert 8,000 miles away filming in outback Australia. The long distance has apparently got the best of the actress despite the phone calls and the “Skype” dates the two set up to keep the love alive.

A close friend of Robert who talked to In Touch Weekly noted that nothing would surprise the actor and his friends and family if she decided to look the other way again and put the relationship in jeopardy.

“Rob’s friends are warning him that she cheated once, so what’s stopping her from doing it again?” In Touch quoted a friend of Rob as saying.

“She’s desperate to hold on to [Rob] but she felt that way before — and she still cheated.”

Another insider came to Kristen’s side saying she would be very careful to put her relationship with Robert at risk again after she worked so hard to win him back again after the fall-out last summer.

The source said: “...with so many people watching her every move, if she hooks up with Rupert, he’ll find out about it, ” adding that if that happens, “They’ll be done for good.”

Robert and Kristen broke up last summer when scandalous photos of the actress making out with Sanders emerged on the web. The two allegedly hooked up while in the UK after collaborating with the film project, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

The Twilight couple separated shortly with Robert leaving the place he had with Kristen. Kristen, devastated tried to get back his man after what she called an “indescretion” and never let go after she won him back.
