When "Frozen" singer Idina Menzel announced her plans for a world tour in 2015, her fans were so excited to get hold of all the details her personal website crashed. After all, Menzel is credited for one the biggest hit songs of 2014—"Let It Go" from Disney's animated movie "Frozen."

The Tony Award-winning artist announced on Monday that she will head out for a world tour starting 2015 and has plans for more than 40 stops in North America alone. "I've been so excited to tell you. I'm hitting the road this summer! I can't wait to see you!," the singer revealed her excitement about her tour on the social media. Check out the tweet below.

The response for Idina's world tour was so overwhelming that her website started facing technical problems because of a sudden surge in traffic from fans wanting to check out the details of her tour dates. After Idina Mendel's website crashed, she did not get upset because of the situation and said she is "secretly happy" as it shows how excited her "amazing" fans are about her tour.

The 43-year-old songstress will kick off the Live Nation-promoted North American leg of her tour in Richmond, Virginia on July 7, 2015 at the Altria Theater. The singer and actress will then entertain the audience in various cities including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Austin, Boston and Chicago. The New York-based artist will finally wrap up her North American leg at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 3. The singer is yet to announce the schedule of her International tours.

Apart from singing songs from her popular movie "Frozen," where she also provided the voice for the character Elsa, Idina is also expected to sing tracks from many Broadway shows where she has acted in the past. The list includes "Wicked," "Rent" and her current show "If/Then." Most recently, the singer has released a collection of holiday songs titled "Holiday Wishes."

According to the Los Angeles Times, tickets for her tour will go on sale from Dec. 5 for general public. The tickets will be available at Live Nation and Menzel's official site. Check out the dates of Idina Menzel World Tour's North American leg below.
