R&B singer Usher was in an ambulance when his son Usher Raymond 5 drowned in a pool accident. The 5-year-old boy got his arm wedged into the drain of the family pool Monday afternoon. Usher's son was hospitalized immediately after the 911 call.

Usher Raymond V, 5, is in intensive care after drowning in a pool accident, Monday. It was reported that the boy was playing in the pool with is aunt. Then he tried to retrieve the toy but unfortunately got stuck in a drain, according to USA Today.

His aunt as well as his nanny failed to release the boy as such they had to call 911 to get help. The boy was then freed by two workers in the house, according to Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos.

He was rushed to an Atlanta hospital. In 2012, Usher's stepson, Kile Glover, died after a jet ski accident in Georgia.

"My nephew was in the pool and he went in and I couldn't get him," Odin hysterically told an emergency operator in the 911 call later posted on TMZ. "I tried to get him. They got him and did CPR on him." A paramedic then could be heard telling the dispatacher that the 5-year-old boy "drowned but he's breathing now."

Campos said the boy was "conscious, alert and breathing" when paramedics arrived before 4 p.m. He was at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite.

The boy is still in the hospital but doctors expect full recovery.

Usher Raymond V is one of two sons of Usher and Tameka Foster who divorced in 2009. The singer went into a grueling court battle for the custody of his two sons in 2012.

Following this incident, Foster filed for emergency custody of the two sons on the grounds that "The Voice" judge is creating a dangerous atmosphere risking the lives of the two boys, according to TMZ.
