"Fury" which is distributed by Columbia Pictures was shown in Australian and New Zealand theatres on Oct. 23, 2014. It was shown in U.S. and Canadian theatres on Oct. 17, 2014 and in UK theatres on Oct. 19, 2014. It stars Brad Pitt (U.S. Army S/Sgt. Don "Wardaddy" Collier), Shia LaBeouf (T/5 Boyd "Bible" Swan), Logan Lerman (Pvt. Norman "Machine" Ellison), Jon Bernthal (Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis), Michael Peña (Trini "Gordo" Garcia), Alicia von Rittberg (Emma) and Jason Isaacs ( Cpt. "Old Man" Waggone). "Fury" was written, directed and produced by David Ayer. The other producers of the film are Bill Block, Ethan Smith, John Lesher and Alex Ott. Its running time is 134 minutes. Its main plot is about World War II, particularly the last month of the European Theater of war in April 1945. "Wardaddy," played by Pitt, is in charge of the M4A3E8 Sherman tank named "Fury" and his crew including "Bible," "Machine," "Coon-Ass" and "Gordo."

The film is filled with action and violence, which is normal in a war movie. But, it also showed some dramatic moments in the film, especially the scenes with Pitt and Lerman. Below is a list of the best and worst moments of "Fury."

IMDb Ratings:

The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb rating for "Fury" is 8.1/10 from 26,375 users. It garnered a Metascore of 64/100 from 47 critics including Robbie Collin of The Telegraph and James Rocchi of TheWrap, who both gave the film a score of 80.

Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

According to the Tomatometer, "Fury" deserves a 79% score. It scored a 7/10 average rating, with 154 considering it fresh and only 42 considering it rotten out of 196 reviews. It also got an 89% score from the audience as of this writing.

Critics' Reviews:

"Any Hollywood gloss has been scoured away: the plot is raw, episodic and wholly unsentimental; a gruelling onward rumble from one brush with death to the next," Robbie Collin wrote on The Telegraph.

Meanwhile, James Rocchi of TheWrap thinks that Ayers was successful in making the story of "Fury" stick with viewers.

Audience Reviews:

"Fury is a well-acted, mediocre war drama that features Brad Pitt and company killing nazis. It's a straightforward WWII drama, nothing more and nothing less," Matt Goodman wrote in a review posted on the Rotten Tomatoes website. Goodman gave "Fury" 3/5 stars.

Meanwhile, Super Reviewer KJ Proulx said that he was impressed with "Fury," including the performances of the crew in it. Proulx gave "Fury" 4 1/2 stars.
