Zayn Malik recently stirred speculations that he is dating Gage Golightly after appearing in a shirtless selfie with a mystery blonde woman, who fans initially identified as the “Teen Wolf” star. The woman reportedly also bears an uncanny resemblance to Malik’s ex-fiancée, Perrie Edwards. Golightly then commented on the rumours and claimed she’s not the woman in Malik’s photo.

Golightly took to her Instagram page on Sunday to put a stop to the speculations before the rumour mill goes crazy. “Hi everyone, just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik. But what a lucky girl! Love y’all,” she wrote and added a trio of kiss emojis. Gage’s post has since received over 13,000 likes as of this writing and over 3,000 comments. Some fans shared their agreement that the woman in Malik’s photo doesn't really look like her.

Malik’s Instagram photo shows him cuddling with a mystery blonde woman. The black and white snap displays the singer cheek to cheek with the woman as they both pucker their lips for the camera. The photo has received over 500,000 likes since Zayn shared it on Saturday.

Although the woman was not identified in the shot, fans initially thought she resembled Golightly, best known as Erica Reyes on “Teen Wolf.” She reportedly also looks like Edwards.

Malik’s photo received mixed comments on Twitter from fans of Edwards and Golightly.

Malik posted the photo after he shared a cryptic message on Twitter about not coming home. The singer wrote, “I don’t want you to wait for me, I’m not coming home.” His post also reportedly came after Edwards shared a photo with her backup dancer, Rycardo Gomez, on Instagram.

Edwards cosied up to the dancer after the Little Mix’s show at the Apple Music Festival in London on Sept. 22. In the photo, the “Little Mix” singer is seen giving the camera a seductive look as she poses with her arm on Gomez’s shoulder. Edwards captioned the shot, “Reunited with this one last night! My love for this boy is outrages! I adore my Riri!”
