Galaxy S3 & Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Update Details
For many weeks now, Samsung and its carriers have been working overtime to deliver Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3. The roll outs have not been very smooth but by the looks of it, it will finish in the United States and around the world soon. Here's a list of important new details for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3.
It appears though that after all the troubles of issues and cancellation, Samsung is finally ready to finish the roll outs in most places. This week has seen a couple of developments for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean users.
While T-Mobile has begun rolling out its Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, the LTE Galaxy S3 variant hasn't seen any update so far. The update is now available through Over-the-Air upgrade and Samsung Kies and it may take some time for Galaxy S3 LTE owners to receive it with Samsung KNOX and Galaxy Gear on board.
Verizon, on the other hand, is not yet done with its major update. It could be though that Verizon is doing an extensive testing to fix all the software kinks before sending it to the consumers. An AT&T Galaxy Note 2 owner also reports an AT&T representative telling him that Android 4.3 would be out in the first week of December but now ETA is not certain.
The good news is that we don't see any delay from other carriers around the world. Australian carrier Telstra's open communication about the updates may set as a good example for other carriers. Telstra recently updated the Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean status. Telstra reported a slight delay in the roll out of the Galaxy Note 2 software but it seems the delay does not impact the carrier's plans, which is a good sign for Telstra users and for others waiting for the update. It means Telstra believes the delivery will be stable.
Galaxy Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update issues on Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 persist and unfortunately, the complaints aren't being settled to date. Samsung UK has just pushed out an Android 4.3 update to fix major issues but users from other parts of the world may not be as lucky and need to tough it out until Android 4.3 bug fix updates are confirmed.
