U.S. cellular carriers are already accepting pre-orders online, including AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, but the Verizon network is still not offering any Galaxy S4 in the meantime. It remains a mystery why Verizon hasn't announced any pre-orders for Galaxy S4. What happened and why is it still a bum?

There are few things Verizon subscribers should know about Galaxy S4 on their home network - pricing, release dates and technical specifications.

Verizon Pricing Rate
Verizon should make a competitive price against selling rates provided by other network carriers. AT&T sells $250 for 16GB variant with a ticket to the gates and $199.99 under a 2-year contract. Walmart is offering the device for only $168

T-Mobile offers Galaxy S4 without any contract, but subscribers must make a down payment first then the monthly instalments for those who cannot pay the whole price.

Verizon should play safely with contract price and other offers to battle the competition from other networks. The price range of Galaxy S4 starts from $150 up to $199.99. For now, it is a complete mystery.

Release Dates
There is not pre-order announcement and no price details has been released yet, making release dates pretty difficult to assume. Other carriers scheduled releases before the end of April and Verizon way behind may cause their variant to be released on late May.

Technical Specifications
As always, there is always a storage variant - 32GB or 64Gb. Due to lack of information regarding price and release dates, it is unknown if what storage variant of Galaxy S4 will Verizon release. If they can get it done sooner, maybe the 32GB will become available before June.

Another issue is the bootloader which could be encrypted or unlockable. Former Galaxy handsets which are Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 were released with tight locks on them. Is it likely that Verizon will do the same with Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3, but who knows if they will release a Bootloader Edition for the device?
