Game of Thrones 3 Finale Review, Reactions: Why Twitterverse is Showing Much Disappointment
The Game of Thrones Season 3 finale called "Myhsa" closed another epic chapter of several families' quest in pursuit of the Iron Throne. A mother died in "Red Wedding;" a new mother is named an episode later. Users on the social media site Twitter review and react to the finale in 140 characters or less. Why is there so much disappointment a week after the Red Wedding?
The Twitterverse is showing a hodge podge of reactions after the airing of HBO's Game of Thrones Season finale. Some said they were disappointed, others just couldn't wait to see the officially commissioned GOT 4. Last week, many viewers declared they "hated" George R.R. Martin for the bloodbath in the Red Wedding. After a relatively subdued episode ("Myhsa"), some viewers got bored.
"Myhsa," which means "mother," pertains to the new role of Daenerys Targaryen. She is the mother of dragons and mother of freed slaves as well. This develops as Arya Stark has witnessed yet another gut-wrenching tragedy in her once happy family.
Those who hated The Hound thank him now for simply being there for the child -- regardless of his initial intentions.
Could Sansa Stark be warming up to the idea that she will be giving birth to Tyrion Lannister's baby? Tywin Lannister orchestrated the massacre of Sansa's family. How dysfunctional could this extended family be?
Game of Thrones is always made more interesting by intimate family talks. Especially when its Cersei Lannister opening up her heart a wee bit. Cersei the Queen Regent tells Tyrion that Joffrey was once a happy child who showed her the joy that love can bring. No one can take that from her, not even Joffrey. How sweet. Twisted, but real. Joffrey wants to present Robb's severed head to Sansa, but Tyrion is not going to let have his way this time.
Sam and Bran meet for the first time. Theon Greyjoy could perhaps be saved. Jon Snow and Ygritte are not likely to have less problems. Jamie Lannister has come home. Davos saves Gendry. How can you not be anxious to see things unfold in Game of Thrones Season 4?
