Starring as one of the male leads of the wildly popular fantasy series, "Game of Thrones" has changed the life of Kit Harington. He reveals in a recent interview that he's going through a midlife crisis at 27 years old, so that he won't need to go through it in his 40s.

Harington plays the character of Jon Snow, one of the reluctant heroes of the series who captured that hearts of the audience with his wide eyed innocence. An innocence that was lost in a steamy cave to a tempestuous red head.

With many of the other male characters in the show already dead or showing some atrocious behaviour, Jon Snow is one of the few characters that the audience is still rooting for. The popularity of the show and the character has translated into real life and Kit Harington the actor, now finds himself in a much different world than he lived in before he got the part.

"Well, yes, it's... I think with a popular series like this, it just comes with being the young male lead." said Harington in an interview with the London Evening Standard. He explains that he's gotten so busy that he asked his team for a two week break at the end of June earlier this year. He talked about taking his sleek black BMW down to Germany where there are no speed limits in the autobahn.

The sports car is one of his recent purchases thanks no doubt to the sudden boost in his career as an actor. He explained that living in London is not conducive for someone who has a fast car because of all the speed bump, but he did it anyway. "So I'm just going to keep it for a year or two and enjoy my mid-life crisis at 27, so I don't have to have one at 45."

His so-called midlife crisis road trip involved four of his friends joining him in the car with some other following in motorcycles and other cars. He said that he chose Germany because he loves the country due to their good outlook on things. With the interest still going up for "Game of Thrones," Harington can safely say that the outlook for his future looks is pretty good as well.
