Game of Thrones' Theon Greyjoy could not be far from Death itself based on the second season finale of HBO's epic series. Still, the actor playing Theon's role, Alfie Allen, would rather not spell anything out to viewers and fans. Allen says 'no' to spoilers.

"You've got to be a little bit on your guard," Allen told TV Guide.

Allen shared his frustration over the spread of spoilers across all media, but noted it was only a matter of time before those who craved information gave in.

"You just don't want to ruin things for people out there... I feel quite sorry for the people who haven't even gotten into Season 1, who read articles about it in the newspaper or in the magazines, and it so blatantly talks about Ned Stark's death," Allen said.

Allen himself is keen on waiting for the actual HBO broadcast before seeing how his scene played out post-filming. He told Vulture that the Thrones' producers asked him whether he wanted to see how things went post-prod, he didn't like the idea.

"I know [showrunners] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] are really happy with it. I've got a really good scene, and they wanted to show it to me after we shot it, but I was like, "No, no, I don't want to know.'"

Allen expressed concern over new Game of Thrones followers who will not enjoy the experience of discovering the series for themselves.

"It's ruined it for them straightaway before they start watching it. It would be great if you could just leave it to surprise, but it's only so long you can hold back on spoilers," he added.

When it comes to Theon's future in Thrones, Allen proved to TVGuide he could be really vague.

"You can see it any way you want, really. You get the vibe of it because, prior to me dying or being knocked out or whichever way you want to see it, someone else gets killed in quite a brutal way. So you think, 'If they've done that to him, why aren't they killing him in that same way?'"

In the end, no spoilers from Alfie Allen on whether there is more to see from Theon on Game of Thrones Season 3.
