Few days to go before the much-anticipated "Game of Thrones" season 3 is back with a bang. There are higher expectations for the show this time and it looks like fans won't be disappointed. Consider it as hiking up the mountain, the best is yet to come.

Once again, famous characters of Jon Snow, the Lannisters, the Starks and Daenerys Targaryen will be brought to life. Although their avid fans are the most excited, the cast and crew who have poured all their efforts for the HBO medieval fantasy show must certainly feel the excitement too.

Lead actress Emilia Clarke who plays the character of Daenerys Targaryen is one of the most famous among all. Must be her fragile yet unyielding look that had the audience hooked.

During the past season, Daenerys has transformed from a meek character to one of the key players in the series. Now that she is out on her own, discovered her powers as the mother of dragons, she is set to bring war to those who gets in her way.

"She's very much on track on getting where the action is. The journey is an exciting one," says Clarke. "I'm fire-proof! It's hard to kill me!"

As her character is in to explore new things and possibilities, the same goes for Emilia who recently broke up with boyfriend Seth MacFarlane. She is also venturing to another branch of her craft which is Broadway. The British actress stars in the play "Breakfast at Tiffany's."
