'Game Of Thrones' Cast Members Nominate Each Other For ALS Ice Bucket Challenge [VIDEOS]

The ALS ice bucket challenge has been the talk of the town in the past few weeks and many celebrities from all over the world have taken part in it. All kinds of people, from your next door neighbour to Hollywood A-listers to athletes and politicians, have made their own creative interpretation as well as their own generous donation. The cast of HBO's highly popular original series "Game of Thrones" was quick to get involved because of Sophie Turner, who plays the character of Sansa Stark.

Sophie looks a far cry from the prim and proper Sansa in her ice bucket video where she dons a loose grey shirt and wears her hair down. She thanks Alex from "All Time Low" for the nomination and apologises for the small ice bucket she is using and explains that she's in a hotel. Season 5 of "Game of Thrones" is currently in production and she is likely at the filming location. She pours the icy water over her head and starts the cast chain by nominating Pedro Pascal, the charismatic Prince Oberyn Martell of season 4.

Pedro then accepts the challenge and in turn nominates Lena Headey, the sinister Queen Regent Cersei Lannister. That nomination leads to a 3-in-1 video, with Lena Heady, Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau taking the challenge, together. The three cast members sit on a stairway, with Headey at the top. After she has drenched herself in the icy water, with some help, she douses Harrington, sitting below her, and then Coster-Waldau, who is sitting at the bottom step, gets wet. Harrington also mentions that he had also been nominated by Joe Dempsie who plays the character of King Robert's bastard son Gendry. Even "Game of Thrones" creator George RR Martin joined in on the fun, with a video of his own.
