The recent episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones" season 4, "Mockingbird," features Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clark and her champion Daario Naharis played by Michiel Huisman finally consummating whatever they have going on.

The undeniable spark between Dany and Daario started when the hunky mercenary joined her entourage in season 3 and ever since then he has been pursuing her. Now he's professing his love once again and though feeling irritated, Dany tells Daario: "Do what you do best. Take off your clothes."

Given that the show has a lot of explicit scenes, this time the director chose to skip it even though most of the GOT fans are looking forward for that special moment. According to The Washington Post, "the uncharacteristically chaste decision to skip over the love scene right to Daario's departure from Dany's chambers the next morning was actually a mistake."

Like the short and sexy affair between Jon Snow and Ygritte, the love scene could have been a sweet relief after the never ending plot to get the Iron Throne and so many killings throughout the season. Thanks to the show's previous episode that features a scene between Cersie and Jamie, the network is now keeping it safe as they need to have more "sequences in which grown-up couples enthusiastically consent to mutually pleasurable sex."

"I badly hope that the folks in charge of "Game of Thrones" have learned to communicate more clearly with their directors than they did with Alex Graves, who earlier this season thought he had directed a sex scene with complicated power dynamics when many of his viewers saw an unambiguous sexual assault," according to the article.

But the scene in question also showcased Dany's power as a woman and it's a very rare moment that a woman was given as much power as this scene. After freeing so many slaves and acting strong in behalf of her people, the Mother of Dragons deserves some tender, loving care and only Daario can give her the pleasure that she needs.

"Game of Thrones" Season 4, episode 8 will return to HBO on Sunday, June 1.
