Fans are waiting eagerly for the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 release date, production is in full swing. Here is an update on the production, some behind the scenes action and what viewers can expect from the series this time.

There are two units shooting for the next season, one unit is called "Wolf" and the other unit is called "Dragon." It seems like a small consolation for the Starks, with the North in ruins, wolfs seem to be dying in a hurry!

Shooting is currently taking place in Iceland, viewers can get a glimpse of what really lies beyond the Wall, as season 4 explores deeper, into the north. The other places where shooting is taking place, is Croatia and Ireland.

Some big names have entered as crew for the production, Deb Riley of 'Moulin Rouge' has joined the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 as Production Designer and he is joined by Jane Walker, who has worked as makeup designer for movies like "The World's End," and "Shaun of the Dead."

Neil Marshall, who directed the episode "Blackwater" from season 2, will be returning in Season 4. Viewers can expect some big battles and epic scenes next year. Stannis Baratheon may have been beaten, but he is not done yet. Daenerys Targaryen is also on the march to conquer more cities.

Jason Momoa, meanwhile, made a surprise appearance during the recent comic con event. Shouting "I am not dead" before kissing Emilia Clarke, Momoa thrilled the fans who have shipped his Khal Drogo and wife Daenerys Targaeyen in the show. He died in the first season of "Game of Thrones," but makes a surprise appearance in Daenerys' vision in Season 2.

Fans, who bought the "Game of Thrones" Season 3 DVD set, will find a deleted scene where Tywin Lannister tells Pycelle that he is not fooled by his act, Pycelle is actually more articulate and stronger than what he pretends to be.

Charles Dance, who plays Tywin Lannister, gives Peter Dinklage shoulder rubs off screen, after the confrontational scenes the two have to perform. Peter Dinklage plays Tyrion Lannister in the show and the rivalry between the father and son is set to peak in season 4.

The "Game of Thrones" season 4 will reportedly premier in March 2014. Fans, who were shocked by the "Red Wedding" from Season 3, hold their breath, as there is another big wedding coming up in the next season.
